Hi- I am new here as wanting to see if anyone else has had issues with their brakes in their Stelvio's. I bought my Stelvio in 2018 and for the first few years it was great. Then about 18 months ago the brakes started feeling strange. Sometimes when I braked even if I took my foot off the pedal to accelerate again the brakes would keep Iloved everything from ride to aesthetics until this strange thing happened today: service engine, service electronic throttle system and auto start/stop unavailable telltales are turned on. I'm concerned and hardly put 650 miles on it. Inaddition, there's a ton of conditions that can stop the start/stop working, like activation of climate control etc, so yes, temperature could have an effect From the service manual: Engine Failure to Stop Conditions When the ESS system is active, the engine may not stop in some conditions for reasons of comfort, emission control and Thebypass, like the one below, will essentially press the button for you every time you start the car: Start/Stop Deactivator for Giulia/Stelvio. Icouldn't get the bolt out laying on the side of the car. After towing the car to the dealer, I have learned that the bolt has a metric allen key slot in the bottom of the bolt to easily remove it if the handle comes loose. So $250 later, I now know everything I need to know about getting the car out of park with the engine not running.

When you push the stick forward, the icon is white, with the "beams" pointing straight. When the high beams auto-activate, the icon turns blue with the beams still pointing straight. 2021stelvio. Just replaced rear brakes and rotors. Drove around the block last night to make sure everything worked. this morning taking on the way to deposit offspring in school the warning “service electronic throttle control” displayed followed by “auto start/stop not available” followed by moderate loss in power.

As a result of this working, I also discovered that the auto engine stop/start appears to be disabled when the rear window defroster is on. See less

I turned the engine off and on again and whilst I was able to pull away and the drive felt normal again, the DNA knob was not working any more (stuck in N). Both "check engine" and "Auto start / stop non available" lights are still on. The car seems to be driving normally.

Mystop/start did not work (never stops) so I took it to the dealer and they charged the battery overnight. Stop/start then worked the next day but has never done ZJUTr.
