Intel Core i5 6500. Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB. 8GB RAM. Issue: Even on all low settings, Origins is maxing out my CPU at 100%. GPU is fine at 45%, but I can't get a stable 60 FPS unless I'm in a desert with nothing around me. This is pretty ridiculous, even for an open world game. It usually drops down to 45 just walking around in Siwa.
Literally all of the Assassin's Creed games run at 30fps on 8th gen machines, and that's got nothing to do with Ubisoft's development, it's just a hardware limitation. Valhalla was the first AC game to run at 60fps, and it only runs at 60fps on 9th gen consoles. Ubisoft spent multiple years developing Unity.
Is Assassin's Creed Valhalla 60fps or 30fps? The Quality preset will deliver improved visuals but with lower frame rates at 30fps. Digital Foundry noted that Assassin's Creed Valhalla does drop below 60fps on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, and stays at 30fps on the Xbox Series S.

The PS5 version is going to look better than a PC with a 1070ti. If you PC doesn't have an SSD the load times will be faster on PS5 as well. If you PC could handle max settings 4k 60fps that would look better but it can't and upscaling is going to look much worse than native, like a blurry filter on everything. AutoModerator ⢠2 yr. ago.

2.5k. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is being treated to a new patch tomorrow that allows the open world title to run at 60 frames-per-second on a PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility. Update 1.6
This is a case where it's fine to sacrifice framerate for higher detail. Games that require quick reactions demand 60fps only because the game puts the player in those situations. Assassin's Creed, more specifically games on Ubisoft's Anvilnext engine does not have frantic "think fast" moments in multiplayer or zero tolerance quick-time events.
On series X you have fps boost, most old games play at 60fps like assassin creed 3, rogue, ezio collection and valhala have a 60fps mode too, or a quality 30fps mode. On series x, origins and odyssey run at or very near to a native 4k, at 30 fps. Valhalla performance mode is 1188p-2160p at 60 FPS, and the quality mode is a native 4k at 60 fps.

This game can look about the same as the last Assassin's Creed games and run at 60 FPS, or it can look significantly better and run at 30 FPS. Personally, I'm okay with developers opting for either, depending on where their focus is.

Ultimately in most areas it probably would run at 60, but I could imagine that not being the case in Athens for example. 1. oaoGallus. ⢠3 yr. ago.
